Congratulations to FSIE president, Dr. Lee Swanström, on receiving the George Berci Lifetime Achievement award from the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).


This is the highest honor bestowed by SAGES. The award is given in recognition of a "lifetime of contributions as an innovator in the field of endoscopic surgery." The award was presented Spring Surgical Week Conference in Nashville, TN.
