The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) www.sages.org is a national organization of surgeons committed to improving quality patient care through education, research, innovation and leadership, principally in gastrointestinal and endoscopic surgery. FSIE founder, Dr. Lee Swanstrom, was past president of the organization.   FSIE members hold SAGES in high regard and participation in the annual meeting is one of our favorite activities to collaborate with colleagues from around the world and present our research. This year’s SAGES Meeting will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center from March 22-25, 2017 in Houston, Texas. We hope to see you there!
